Running Accomplishments:

I ran a 3:23:45 in the St. George Marathon, a 1:32:27 in the Hobblecreek Half marathon. Completed St. George Ironman in 2010 and Arizona Ironman in 2011.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Goals for 2012.  Break 3:20 in a marathon, 1:30 in a half marathon.   Races I'm planning on running in 2009.  Striders half marathon, Ogden Marathon, Boise Half Ironman, Spudman, Sawtelle half marathon, Provo River half marathon, St. George Marathon,  either New York or Philadelphia marathon.Whatever triathlons work with my schedule

Personal:

 I started running in 2004 when I was 35. Up until that time I hadn't run more than a mile at any one time and it had been years since I had done that. It was getting hard to find guys my age to play basketball with and I needed something to stay active. I signed up for the five mile portion of the Canyonlands half marathon in Moab. It was in March and I started running the end of January. The week before the race I completed my first four miler and it about killed me. I finished the race the next week in just under 46 minutes but I was hooked. I've been running fairly regularly since then.
