| | I ran with Todd, Shawn, Anthony, and Mike D. We did the run we call "Bernies" It's a pretty flat run with a little bit of hill work in the middle. We didn't push the pace very hard. The miles were all in the 8:20 to 8:40 range. My legs felt really good tonight. I ran in my new Nimbus. For the first time since I switched to the Pegasus my heel didn't hurt. It's a good sign. | Add Comment |
| | I ran with Todd, Shawn, and Anthony. We did the Birch Creek loop. First 4 miles is gradual down hill and flat. Todd and I pushed the pace a little. Our miles were between 7:10 and 7:15. I slowed down a lot the last couple of miles that are fairly steep up hill. My miles were in the 9:30 range. Until I hit the hills, my legs felt great. Todd continued at a pretty good clip once we hit the hills and finished with a 7:24 avg. My pace for the run was 8:10. | Add Comment |
| | I ran this morning with Todd, Kacie, Angie, Mike D., Shawn and Melissa. We started at Peak Performance and started with the toll road loop. It's a nine mile loop with a long steep down hill stretch as well as a long, steep uphill. Mike, Shawn and Melissa ended their run after the first 9 miles. Todd, Kacie, Angie and I continued and ran to Weber State and then made our way past Mount Ogden Park and over to 20th St. We turned down and ran past El Monte golf course to the mouth of the canyon. We then got on the river walk way and ran it down to Washington. At Washington we turned South and ran to Mountain Perk. We thought the second stretch would be nine miles but it ended up being 11 so we ended up doing 20 instead of 18 which we planned on doing. It was a good run. I was very tired at the end and my legs were quite sore. Most of our miles were in the 8:30 range. We had some around 8 and others closer to 9. For the most part we maintained a pretty consistent 8:30 pace. | Add Comment |
