I ran ten miles in Island Park. Started at Macks Inn and took the old highway down to Elk Creek. At Elk Creek I crossed Highway 20 and ran down the Yale-Kilgore road until I reached the dirt road that leads to coffe pot campground. I took that road back to Macks Inn and then back to my place. I averaged 9:00 minute miles. For the third Saturday in a row my legs felt tired. I'm not sure if my interval training is wearing me out or if I'm not getting in enough miles during the week.

I ran five miles in 43:25. I went down Madison to 40th. Up 40th to Harrison and then back down 40th to the hospital. Around the hospital to Glasmann. Up Glassman to Artic Circle and then down to Birch Creek Hollow and up Jefferson. Tough run with a lot of hills. Ran the last mile at a 7:45 pace. Overall the run felt good after the first mile.

I ran the Provo River Half marathon. My time from when I started was 1:37:25. I was up by the bathrooms when the gun went off and didn't realize the race was getting ready to start. I wasn't real happy about having to run around people for the first mile but after that it opened up and I was able to drop down to 7:00 minute miles between mile two and the hill at about mile 6 and half. Overall it was a great run today. This was the best I've felt in quite a while.

Due to a bee sting that caused my right foot to swell today was the first day I've been able to run this week. I kept a pretty consistent nine minute pace. My legs felt surprisingly fresh. I expected some soreness after Saturday's run and the three days of inactivity. My route had some hills but was mostly flat.

the first two miles was mostly uphill. I went up Birch Creek, turned and ran up to the Catholic church. I crossed the highway and ran down to Friendship park around the armory and through the terrace past Bonneville and down to Hilltop and then home. I was sorer today than I was yesterday. My time was 45:48. The miles were as follows, 8:52, 9:14, 8:07, 8:14, 8:19.

I ran it in 2:14:56. My goal was to run a 9:00 pace. The course was mostly flat and/or slightly down hill. I started at Peak Performance and ran the Uintah loop and then went down to Artic Circle where I crossed the highway. I then ran through South Ogden to Friendship park and then around the armory and into the terrace. I went along the top of 5500 S. and down 500 W. to 4800 S. Ran past Bonneville and then turned down. Crossed the highway at Hilltop and ran down to Adams. From there I went down Adams to 20th. Turned up 20th to Monroe and then to the River Parkway. took parkway to Washington and then up to Mountain Perk. I felt really good the first 12 miles and then my thighs tightened up. I think they're still sore from the half marathon last week. I changed shoes last week from the Nimbus to the Vomero. Big mistake. I'm going to give the Vomero another week and then going back to the Nimbus. My miles were as follows;

1-9:07

2-9:02

3-8:43

4-8:28

5-8:21

I ran intervals up at Weber. I ran a mile and a half at a 8:30 pace to warm up. Then I did 8 800s. The pace ranged from 3:12 to 3:28 on the last one. Moast of them were right around 3:20. Then I ran a slow half mile to cool down. The total mileage tonight was eight. That included the walk/slow jog in between the intervals.
