I ran with

Todd, Mike, Anthony, John, Shannon and others. We started at Peak Performance and ended at Mountain Perk. We started at 7:30 and it was cold. I warmed up after a couple of miles and felt really good for most of the run. I've been sick so this was first run in a week. We maintained a pace that stayed between 8:10 and 8:30 every mile.

I did a slow three miles on the treadmill while I watched the Jazz game. I hate the treadmill. Good game though.

Todd and I ran a modified version of the loop from my house up past Artic Circle and then past the armory and back home. We're preparing for Las Vegas on Sunday so we cut back on the mileage and the speed. Our pace was 8:36.

Race: Las Vegas Marathon (26.2 Miles) 03:55:13

I ran the Las Vegas Marathon. I went in to the race not worried about my time, just hoping to have a good experience and finish it. I hadn't run farther than ten miles since St. George and at mile 18 I really started to feel it. Overall, I didn't care much for this marathon. It was way too crowded the first six miles and I wore myself out trying to run around slower runners. The Course was pretty boring after we left the strip. Overall the race was pretty disorganized. This isn't one I would recommend.

I ran with Anthony and the group from Peak Performance down to Mountain Perk. The rest of them ran 9, but this being my first run since the marathon I didn't want to go very far. The legs were a little sore but not as bad as I expected and definitely as sore as they were following St. Georg.

I ran three miles on the treadmill. I was reminded why I hate treadmills.

I ran with Todd today during my lunch break. We left from Peak Performance and ran to the football stadium at Weber State and then back. We ran the first three miles at an 8 minute pace and then I slowed down to a 8:30-8:45 pace on the way back. My legs felt pretty good with the exception of my right calf which ached every time we ran up hill.

I ran the first two on a treadmill because the roads were icy. After two miles I couldn't stand it anymore so I went outside and did another three miles on the road. I ran a pretty slow 9:20 pace.

I ran from my house to the office. ZI ran exactly three miles and my time was 22:28. I felt pretty good so I opened it up a bit. My legs are starting to feel better.

I ran with Todd, Anthony, John, Dave, Quinton and Kacie. We started at Peak Performance. The plan was to run to the football stadium and back. We started out at an 8:00 pace. At about mile 2 my right cramped up to the point I could hardly walk. I'm not sure what was going on. I turned around at mile 2 1/2 and made my way back. Around mile four the pain went away. I'm not sure what was wrong. Hopefully, it's nothing major.
