I ran a nice easy, slow three miles tonight. Legs a little sore after Sunday's run. Plan to push it a little harder tomorrow.

I ran a loop from Todd's house that went out onto 89 around Harrison and then up and around the Dee Events Center. We eventually ended up on Glassman and back to Todds. We kept the pace between 8:00 and 8:15. My legs are still feeling tired.

I ran ten miles with Todd. We started at Peak Performance and ran to the Dee Events Center. At the DEC we went up the hill and around Weber State. We then made our way through the neighborhoods past Mt. Ogden park and then down about 27th and then back to the store. We maintained an 8:00 pace (except up the hill by the DEC) for the first 7 miles. I really struggled the last 7 miles and dropped down to 9:00 miles for 8 and 9 and then back to 8:15 for mile 10. A good, fairly difficult run with a lot of hills.

I ran the trails above Ogden. I was suppose to run with Anthony, John and the group but I got there late and missed them so I ran alone. Today was a perfect fall day for running. I had an enjoyable, but difficult run. There were a lot of steep hills on the trail I choose today. I started at the exercise trailhead above Weber and ended up on the trail into Malan's basin. I turned around part way up to Malan's basin and returned.

I ran with Todd and Kacie. We did the loop from Peak Performance, down Combe to lower Uintah and across the highway. Then to the toll road. Up the toll road past the hospital and then made our way back to Peak Performance. I was late arriving and got left so John drove me to catch up. I missed the first mile and a half. A good run. The toll road about killed me and had to walk a little near the top. the pace was 8:44.

I ran with Shannon, John, Anthony and Cherrie. We started with the Combe loop from Peak Performance and then down past Golf City. Crossed the highway and went through the Terrace and past Bonneville. Crossed the highway back at Hilltop and then down to Adams. From Adams we went straight down to 26th and ended at Mountain Perk. The pace was 8:25. The last two miles were 7:56 and 7:37. This was the first run since the marathon that I felt really good.

I ran with Todd. We started at his house and did the loop down Washington to Harrison. Along Old Post and across Harrison at 4800. ran Glasmann and then back to Todds. Our pace was 8:12. It was quite a bit faster until I hit glassman and then slowed down quite a bit up the hill.

Five of it was the Trukey Trot in Ogden at Ogden Regional Hospital. I ran the five in 37:07. I didn't run a real smart race. I went out too fast the first couple of miles where it's uphill and then I didn't have the kick I wanted coming back down hill. I ran with Mike for the first three miles and then he left me. He came in at at just over 36 which is about where I wanted to be. I did knock off a little over two minutes from last year.

I ran with Todd and Celeste. We started at Peak Performance and did the toll road loop. I was really sore today. I maintained between an 8:30 and 9:00 pace except the toll road which I came up in 9:57. After the run went to the BYU-U game. Great game, better outcome.
