| | I ran with Todd and Sean. We left the snowmobile parking lot on top of Monte and ran down to Red Rocks and then down South Fork for a few more miles. Stayed in the 8 minute pace for most of the run, backed off to 8:30 the last couple of miles. | Add Comment |

Sean, Todd and I started at the Albertsons in S. Ogden and ran through Uinta up to Woodland. Climbed Woodland to Bonneville Terrace. Climbed to the top of Bonneville Terrace and followed it to Shadow Valley. Dropped down on Wasatch and made our way to Old Post Road and then back to our cars. A good run with a lot of steep uphill and subsequent down hill. | Add Comment |

Provo River Half Marathon (13.1 Miles) 01:37:03, Place overall: 134, Place in age division: 15 | | Another wake-up call (as if I needed one). Left at Ogden at 4:00, got down to Provo by 5:00. Was on one of the last buses which turned out to be a problem. I was up a ways when the race started. I have an unofficial time of 1:35:05. That's about where I expected to be and is a little slower than I ran this last year. After a first mile of dodging people I opened up miles two through four and hit a 6:33, 6:46 and 6:39. I paid for it in the end and ran miles 12 and 13 both at 7:54. With my mileage where it's been I wasn't surprised when I broke down after mile 10. This race has so much potential that I wish it was a little better organized. It's a great run though so I return every year. | Add Comment |
| | Recovery run in the neighborhood. Went up Jefferson until the end turned and came down Burch Creek to 41st, up to Madison to 42nd to Jefferson and back home. The legs were very sore tonight. Took it easy. Had aches and pains the entire run. | Add Comment |
| | This was suppose to be a five mile run. My wife and kids were up swimming at Bernies. I decided to run up there and join them for a swim. They left earlier than expected and they were gone when I got there. I had no choice but to run back home. Pretty much all up hill on the way there and down coming home. The legs are still a little sore from Saturday had a 8:44 avg. pace. | Add Comment |

| | I ran with Todd and Mike. We left Albertson's parking lot in S. Ogden and ran down through S. Ogden past Friendship and the Armory to Ogden Regional. Went down the toll road into lower Uintah and then back up Combe into upper Uintah. Mike called good at that point, which was ten miles. Todd and I continued along Old Post to Weber State and then to Mt. Ogden Park. Continued along the east bench to 20th and then ran down to Peak Performance where we left a car. It was very hot the first ten miles and it really sapped us. Averaged just under a nine minute pace for the run. A lot of hill work on this run. | Comments(1) |
| | I ran 800s up at Weber State with Todd and Mike. I ran a warmup mile in 8:38 and then did 5 800s. they ranged from 3:07 to 3:18. slow jogged/walked a lap in between, then did a half mile cool down. | Add Comment |
| | Didn't get out until almost 11:00 p.m. Did an easy three mile route in the neighborhood. My legs were still a little sore. Treated it as a recovery run. Had an 8:52 pace for the run. | Add Comment |
| | I ran with Todd and Mike. We did a new route which I really liked. We started at the Albertsons in S. Ogden and ran the full Combe loop. Crossed Harrison at Starbucks and went down past Firendship and the Armory and then to the toll road. Down the toll road to S. Weber Dr. and turned West and went to Riverdale. Took Riverpark Drive to Riverdale Road, crossed and took the back roads to 30th. Took 30th to Adams and called it good because Todd had to get to a missionary farewell. Stayed in the8 minute range the first few miles and the 9 minute range for most of the run after about mile 6. | Comments(1) |
| | Slow run tonight. Took Jefferson to Birch Creek, went up to Chambers, crossed at St. Joes, down through S. Ogden, crossed Washington at the armory, down Birch Creek to 42nd, to Madison and back home. Good uphill the first two miles, 8:52 pace | Add Comment |
| | Met the group up at Weber State. I was in a hurry so I only ran three 800s and 1 400 after a mile warm-up. Had times of 3:10, 3:16 and 3:20, ran the 400 in 1:20. Four total miles. | Add Comment |
