Not what I hoped for.  I went into this knowing that my mileage wasn't where it needed to be and with no real expectations.  However, a fifteen minute decrease from last year was not what I had in mind.  The wind and rain certainly contributed.  When I get more time I'll break down my splits.

First run since St. George.  My legs were really sore.  Todd and I did an easy run, but I couldn't keep up with him.  I was in the 9 to 10 minute range after mile 3.

I ran three miles along the beah in Redondo Beach.  They have a paved trail next to the beach.  Very cool run.  My legs were still pretty sore though.

Todd and I left his house and went up and around the Combe loop and back to his house.  Kept the pace in the 8 to 8:30 range.

Ran the toll road with Quentin, Sean, Mike and Ben.  My legs were really sore again.  It seems like they should feel better by now.  In addition, I got stung by a sting ray while I was in California last week and my foot turned red and was swollen at the end of the run.  Hopefully nothing serious.

Ran with Todd from his house.  We went down past Friendship to the top of the toll road and then back.  9:08 pace.  Legs still sore.
